2013 Corvette ZR1

Chevrolet recently announced the 2013 Corvette ZR1 will act as a safety car in this year’s Indianapolis 500event.This is also the No. 23 Chevrolet to participate in the competition, but also the 11th Corvette to play the role of the safety car.

2013 Corvette ZR1 has a 638-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 supercharged engine, and enough performance to take on the Indianapolis 500 pace car. And, in order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Corvette, Chevrolet introduced the production version of the Corvette ZR1 60th anniversary package, including body painting, launched earlier this year, Arctic white and pearl blue color.

The Indianapolis 500 will be officially opened at 12 o’clock noon U.S. time May 27.
