Recently, Peugeot has released official pictures of the the Onyx concept supercar, the car will debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

The new car appearance is full of a sense of science and technology with future style, the sharp light vaguely sketched out dynamic lines, making people more to look forward to the face of the new car, In addition, it is also equipped with LED lights and deployable rear spoiler.

Inside, the concept features a cabin design heavy in carbon fibre and futuristic components, with an F1-like steering wheel and jet-engine style HVAC ports. You’ll also find unique materials inside that include recycled newspapers, compressed to create ‘logs’ that were then cut to suit the design of the cabin’s components.

Well no official details about the car are out but it is definately believed that the Onyx will boast a hybrid drivetrain combining a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine tweaked to deliver around 250 horsepower with an electric motor for a total system output of about 400hp. Instead, the Onyx is driven by a 447kW 3.7 litre V8 diesel engine that sends power to the rear wheels thruogh a six-speed sequential transmission.
