Mercedes-Benz has released a product called Ener-G-Force SUV concept, let me shine at the moment, this concept SUV is specifically introduced in order to participate in this year’s Los Angeles Auto Design Challenge, imaginary users are Highway Patrols in 2025. Of course, I also hope that this stunning SUV to launch civilian version, it is too cool.
From the design point of view, the design language of the ENER-G-Force vaguely able to see a lot of elements of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class off-road vehicles, but apparently, this concept SUV feels more future sci-fi, the design team has given it the elements of fashion. Some of the design point is we have to pay attention to, such as headlights, turn, and running lights, large fender, entire appearance is square, but the details of the lines is elegant and rounded.
The roof rack is the most interesting places in the entire design, seemingly a loading device, but its hidden mystery. It is a water tank storing water, hydrogen fuel cells for accommodating the power supply of the vehicle. The extremely advanced four-wheel-drive system, four wheel independent with a motor power of each wheel, and the suspension system is controlled according to the terrain, facing complex terrain just like on the flat.
The Ener-G-Force was one of six entrants for the 2012 LA Design Challenge, and the winning design will be announced on November 29 as a part of the LA Auto Show.
