2013 Bentley Mulsanne

Bentley has released the first official pictures of the 2013 Mulsanne, which will be presented next March at the Geneva Motor Show. The improvements concern mainly the interior of the car. On the Mulsanne debuts two new accessory packages called Entertainment and Comfort Specification: the first is characterized by a particularly advanced technological equipment which includes a 8-inch LCD screen installed in the center of the dashboard, a DVD player, the Naim hi-fi system with 20 GB hard Disk, while the rear wooden tables can accommodate two iPad with wireless keyboard. The Comfort package, instead, includes headrest, footrest and cushions made ​​of soft goose down. On request you can have a wi-fi router, while in the rear a new compartment was obtained to store your electronic devices such as smartphones. The interior can also be customized with new upholstery Damson, Saffron and Brunel leather, while comfort is further enhanced thanks to the new electronically controlled curtains. To take advantage of the luggage compartment from 443 liters you can order a set of tailored bags. The mechanics of the Bentley Mulsanne remains unchanged: under the hood there is the 6.75-liter V8 bi-turbo capable of 512 hp and 1020 Nm of torque, mated to the rear-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic transmission. Despite the mass of 3090 kg, the Mulsanne manages to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, from 0 to 160 km/h in only 11.5 seconds, while the top speed is 296 km/h.

Bentley ha diffuso le prime immagini ufficiali della Mulsanne 2013, che verrà presentata il prossimo marzo in occasione del Salone di Ginevra. Le migliorie che hanno interessato l'ammiraglia britannica riguardano soprattutto gli interni della vettura. Sulla Mulsanne debuttano due nuovi pacchetti di accessori denominati Entertainment e Comfort Specification: il primo si distingue per una dotazione tecnologica particolarmente avanzata che comprende uno schermo LCD da 8 pollici installato al centro della plancia, un lettore DVD, il sofisticato impianto hi-fi della Naim con hard disk da 20 Gb, mentre sui tavolini posteriori in legno è possibile ospitare due iPad dotati di tastiera wireless. Il pacchetto Comfort Specification invece comprende poggiatesta, poggiapiedi e cuscini realizzati in soffice piuma d'oca. A richiesta si può avere un router wi-fi, mentre nella zona posteriore è stato ricavato un inedito vano dove riporre i dispositivi elettronici come gli smartphone. Gli interni possono inoltre esser personalizzati con i nuovi rivestimenti in pelle Damson, Saffron e Brunel, mentre il comfort è ulteriormente aumentato grazie alle nuove tendine a controllo elettronico. Per sfruttare al meglio il vano bagagli da 443 litri è possibile ordinare un set di valige realizzato su misura. La meccanica della Bentley Mulsanne rimane invariata: sotto il cofano troviamo il V8 biturbo da 6.75 litri capace di 512 cv e 1020 Nm di coppia, abbinato alla trazione posteriore e alla trasmissione automatica a 8 rapporti. Nonostante la massa di 3.090 Kg, la Mulsanne riesce a bruciare lo scatto da 0 a 100 km/h in 5,3 secondi, quello da 0-160 km/h in soli 11,5 secondi, mentre la velocità di punta è di 296 km/h.
