Lightweight design Audi TT Ultra Quattro concept

Audi previously simply announced a product called Audi TT Ultra quattro concept, the concept car is applied to Audi’s lightweight technology, vehicle weight of only 1111 kg.

Vehicle weight of the the Audi TT the Ultr aquattro concept is controled at 1111 kg, can be said that is not an easy task, so the weight is a full 300 kg lighter weight than before the modification of the standard version of TT models.

Although it is a concept car, but its power is consistent with the Audi TT, that is equipped with a 2.0 liter TFSI inline four-cylinder turbocharged engine, maximum output power is 228 kW and peak torque is 400 Nm, thrust-to-weight ratio reached 3.6 kg / hp, 96mph is just 4.2 seconds, top speed is up to 280km / h.

In such a lightweight concept car uses multiple technologies to ensure enough light in weight, which includes a four-point safety seat from the Audi R8 GT, carbon fiber composite roof, rear wing, as well as in the control,roll cage inside the vehicle, there are other lightweight technology.
