Audi disclosed more statistics on its hottest TT yet in a document meant for German dealerships. The document was leaked and we have the facts.
The car will be powered by a supercharged and turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder TFSI engine. The engine will produce 335 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. All this power will be transferred to the ground via a six-speed manual transmission and a rear-biased version of Audi's signature Quattro all-wheel-drive. The car is claimed to do 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds.
There are no details yet on whether the RS will ditch the TT's current magnetic dampers (similar to those found on the Corvette ZR-1, Cadillac CTS-V, and Ferrari 599) in favor of a stiffer, more track-oriented setup.
The car is expected to be launched sometime in the third-quarter of 2009. Prices are expected to be around 50,000 Euros ($64,000)
